This policy explains what personal data Tradiary ("the service", "we") collects, why, and what your choices are. Tradiary is operated by Tradiary, Türkiye. Contact: ardatolgak@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address, an optional username that you choose, and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only as a secure hash; we never see or store your password in readable form.
- Journal content you enter: trades (date, instrument, direction, prices, size, profit or loss, notes, strategy, mood and psychology score, optional trade time), fund deposits and withdrawals, goals, starting balance, and screenshots you upload.
- Alert settings (optional): if you turn on push alerts, we store a device address and encryption keys issued by your browser's push service, your time zone, language and alert choices, so alerts can reach you when the app is closed. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
- Technical data: our hosting and database providers process your IP address and standard request logs to deliver the service and keep it secure.
- Data stored on your device: your sign-in session, and preferences such as theme, country/time zone, custom instruments and achievement counters. This is stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to advertisers.
2. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set tracking cookies.
- We do not read your journal for any purpose other than running the service, keeping it secure and, if you ask, giving you support.
3. Why we use your data
To create and secure your account, store and show your journal, calculate your statistics, send account emails (confirmation and password reset), and keep the service reliable and safe. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performing our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
4. Who processes data for us

| jsDelivr | Delivers the open-source code library used to talk to our backend. |
Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account inside the app (Settings → Delete my account), or by using our account deletion page, your account, trades, funds, goals and screenshots are removed. Copies may remain in provider backups for a limited period of up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
6. Your rights
You can export your data from the app (Settings → Your data → Trades CSV or All data JSON) and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority. To use a right that the app does not cover, email us at the address above.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Every user's records are protected by database access rules so that an account can only read and change its own data, and screenshots are stored in a private bucket with signed, expiring links. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Tradiary is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant we will tell you in the app or by email. The date above shows the latest version.
